Chamberlain Graceful Living

Robin Chamberlain

Picture
Owner and Manager, Robin Chamberlain is the head of the care team. Robin has 15 years experience working in Long Term Care as a nurse and ten years working as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital setting. Robin is available on site  at least 40 hours a week and is on call 24 hours a day. It is a great advantage that the Chamberlain's only live two houses away from the facility and can be of assistance if needed within minutes. As a nurse, Robin has had a vision for several years  to own a facility where she can care and help others in need. Her  heart is burdened for the aging adult and those facing end of life or long term illnesses who are unable to care for themselves; to provide a facility where residents can enjoy a safe and comfortable homelike atmosphere while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Adam Chamberlain

Owner Adam Chamberlain is the financial manager and primary maintenance operator for the home. Adam has a  Bachelors degree in engineering from Pennsylvania College of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Frostburg State University. Like Robin, Adam shares a burden in his heart to help those in need. He shares the manager responsibilities and contributes greatly with his skills in finance, construction, and  maintenance.  Adam is gifted with his understanding of modern facility design and computer technology and will be incorporating it into the Chamberlain Graceful Living Growth Plan. It is the dream of both Adam and Robin to have multiple facilities at various locations to more conveniently serve their clients.

                                                            Faculty/Staff

Chamberlain Graceful Living employs only the most caring and compassionate caregivers who are trained on a continuous basis to ensure all state regulations are maintained and the safety and well being of the resident is maximized.  Most employees hold a medication technician certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing. All staff and caretakers are trained in CPR and First Aid, Basic Food Safety, Infection Control, Fire and Life Safety,  Emergency Disaster, and extensive training in Cognitive Impairment. Further in-services include Fall Prevention, Wound Care and Assessment, and Abuse. Knowledge and skill is vital for the safety and well-being of the residents. Without qualified and caring staff, our facility could not fulfill its ultimate goal.
