Many of the features are above what the normal facility offers. Features such as onsite internet, gardening, etc. give residents extra activities throughout the day. Other service benefits are transportation to and from doctor's appointments. Transportation is also provided daily for miscellaneous shopping and entertainment. On Sundays, transportation will be provided to several church services as well as Sunday night services and special events. Also, caretakers are to prepare daily meals and present a weekly planned balanced diet menu which has been approved by a licensed dietician. In addition, caretakers will be required to assist residents with activities of daily living. This includes assisting residents with getting dressed, grooming, transferring, making beds, general housecleaning, laundry, toileting, and assistance getting ready for bed.
Chamberlain Graceful Living is a Level 3, sixteen bed (8 semi-private rooms) home. Chamberlain Graceful Living will offer double occupancy rooms only. The double rooms allow the residents to become socially involved with each other while forming close friendships The Chamberlains want to be able to care for as many residents as permissible in their home. Maintaining safety is of vital importance. Slip Resistant flooring is found throughout the facility. Overall, the largest benefit for residents staying at Chamberlain Graceful Living is the compassion and care that residents will receive on an individual basis.
